Features of Ajax sirens

 

Operation under any conditions

Ajax outdoor sirens can withstand heat, cold and stormy wind without any difficulties. They remain operational at a range from -25°C to +60°C, and the enclosure has an IP54 protection index. With the built-in tamper and accelerometer, any attempt to tear an external sounder from the surface activates an alarm. Wireless sirens are entirely autonomous: they can not be disabled by cutting off the power. The off button is blocked in armed mode. Built-in batteries will last for years, and the siren notifies of the need to replace them in advance.

 

Versatility

In addition to loud alarms, Ajax sirens have functions that make using the security system even more comfortable. The LED indicates whether the system is armed, and the sounder can signal the delays when entering/leaving. By enabling the Chime feature, system users receive sound notifications on the door openings when the system is disarmed. Flexible settings in the mobile and desktop apps allow not to disturb neighbors due to the operation of specific devices. For instance, you can set the siren to alert in the case of intrusion and fire, but do not activate it when a water leak is detected.
